Alas, no Bad Baby Name post this week. The Trib-Herald didn’t print the list of baby names in today’s paper for some reason.
There won’t be a Bad Baby Name post for the following three weeks either, as Alice and I are heading off on vacation. We’re spending a night in Honolulu, staying at the Queen Kapiolani Hotel. It’s only a three-minute walk from Waikiki Beach, which will hopefully make all of you cold-dwellers jealous. After that we’re off to the land of fog and earthquakes, staying at the Castle Inn in downtown San Francisco for five nights. Then it’s to Canada! Vancouver Island, to be exact. We’ll be splitting our time between Victoria and Nanaimo with a day trip or two to Vancouver, staying in the motherland for two and a half weeks. Then it’s back to the Queen Kapiolani for the better part of a day, and back to Hilo.
