Ads make their triumphant return.

After reading a story about the internet’s biggest Google whores, I got sick with envy and decided to put ads back on canspice.org.
You may notice, however, that there are no ads on the front page. I make the pledge that now and in the future the front page of canspice.org will never have ads.
Ads appear on individual pages and posts. And if you’re particularly keen, you can see the lone page that has two ad blocks. I put two ad blocks on my last.fm recently played PHP code page for two reasons: 1) it gets the most traffic of any page or story on this site, and 2) regular readers never see that page.
I should make the point that even though I initially put ads up here in November 2004, I have yet to receive any money from them. Keen readers will note that that means I’ve made less than $100 so far. In other words I’m not buying a Porsche a month with this stuff. Or even a coffee a month, for that matter. Probably only enough to pay for hosting, which is all I could ask for.
