The Mac is back.


After being in Memphis for the past week and a half, I got my MacBook back yesterday. The backlight hasn’t flickered yet, so I assume they fixed whatever needed fixing. Luckily, the service details sheet sent along with my MacBook says they replaced the “APP-630-7253 PCB MLB, 2.0GHZ DC, SMS/ST”. Hurray for a new APP-630-7253 PCB MLB!

    I’m guessing that’s the logic board.

    Yeah, that’s what it looks like. Makes sense that I’d have to do the firmware update again if the logic board were replaced.
