Ding dong, CBS is gone!


As has been well documented here, I hate CBS’s coverage of Formula One races. So naturally the news that Fox will be airing Formula One races for the 2007 season comes as a huge breath of fresh air.

No more Derek Daly! No more “crashing over the kerbs!” No more “I have a telestrator and I’m going to use it to show you where the steering wheel is because nobody’s ever seen a steering wheel let alone a car before”!

And the excellent SPEED crew of Bob Varsha, David Hobbes, Steve Matchett, and Peter Windsor will be working the Fox broadcasts!

Oh happy days are here again!
