CanSpice Jr. on the way

DSC_4686 It’s official, Alice is about three months along in her pregnancy. Here’s what we know:

  • Due date is March 16.
  • Little protobabies make protomothers nauseous and unable to eat things like basil and tomatoes.
  • We’re both incredibly excited and scared and almost every emotion you could think of (except the bad ones like anger).

Here’s what we don’t know:

  • The baby’s gender.
  • The baby’s name (oh but watch for a future post about this!)
  • The baby’s fath… haha just kidding.

So fire away with questions and congratulations, because I know they’re coming. :-)

As long as he or she doesn’t end up in a bad baby names entry, I’ll call it a win.

Oh yeah, and congratulations (again) to the proud parents-to-be.

    Hey excellent, congratulations!

    My baby-name suggestions would be:

Shy-ler (good for boy or girl)
    K8 (simplicity rules here)

I think you should name the child Qwerty.

I’ve heard Abcde is a great name for a kid.

I am excited for you two. :)

Whatever the child’s gender, lots of Ys are necessary! ;)

(The best part is where that post works for both my response of jubilation and a suggestion for a potential baby name…)

Woo and as you so rightly say, Hoo! I’ve heard about impending bundles of joy in lots of ways (one involved almost choking to death on a cheese sandwich) but this is the first time I’ve been Twittered about it. Now the most eagerly awaiting naming process begins…you have created a monster (not the baby of course)

Frossie has also voted for Qwerty Cavanagh as the name for your child, it has a Y and everything.

Of course when travelling in France they should be known as Azerty Cavanagh.

I too am upset about the tomatoes.
