And I know of a family with kids named Queenie, Empress, King and Princess. The names aren’t really too strange on their own …but if you put them all in one family, then that’s a different story. :P

The things parents do to their kids! I know of a family who named their kids Aerene, Aerielle, Aeron and Aedam. I just think it’s a bit too funny! ;)

I never knew that naming a baby could be so tough! My wife is on her 7th month and we have yet to decide on a name for our baby! “Lynn” and hyphenated names are definitely out of the question. So are weirdly spelled names just to make them seem unique. Take “Aerene” and “Jhaneen.” No way.

I read somewhere that you should “test” names first before deciding on which one to give your child. Armed with a list of the names you like, wander through the house and yell the first name on the list at least 5 times. Do the same for every name down the list. You’ll find that some names actually sound more ridiculous than others. ;)

I named my little girl “Julia.” Now isn’t that such a beautifully classic, solid name? :) It’ll fit her at any age. “Julia” will still sound good even if she’s in her teens, 30′s or 70′s.

@Brad Actually, that's where I got it from. It was in the papers a while back. Not too sure how long ago though, but it was either February or January of this year.

Yes, thank you, I know about Hypnotiq. However, I’ve never seen Hypnotiq as a baby name in the Tribune-Herald, which is where I get all of my Bad Baby Names from.

The instant I see Hypnotiq in the Trib you can rest assured I’ll post about it.
