Returning to Canada

On January 29 we’ll be returning to Canada.

We’ve known for a while that our time in Hawaii would be coming to an end, as my H1B visa is set to expire on May 31, 2010, but a job popped up in November that I couldn’t pass up. Applied, interviewed, and accepted, and I start on February 1.

We’ll be living in New Westminster (if you need an address change, email me). I’ll be working for UBC out of St. Paul’s Hospital, specifically at the iCAPTURE Centre.

I’ll be posting more details as the month goes on, but thought I’d make the semi-public news officially public now!

Oh man. How close are you guys to Melly?

5 minute drive, 20 minute walk. One of the reasons why we’re in New West. :-)

    Oh Wow!

I wish you the best of luck and I feel like I’m losing a great “Employee” although none of us on the FBI Blogs really does anything but do things we enjoy.

I assume you will still be keeping your Blog… so I will keep on reading it… even if you are no longer here since I’ve enjoyed following it this long as it is.

Once you do finally up and leave us… I’ll post a farewell message on the FBI Site and my own blog.

Wish you the best of luck in the next decade and enjoy being a “Father” as that is what is the most important thing!

    Damon

At least now you’ll be able to raise that daughter of yours in hockey country. :)

    Thanks Damon!

Geof, we actually watched Canucks vs. Kings in the hospital with her when she was a day old. Canucks lost. :-(
