Let me tell you, it can get cold. And I’m not just talking about up at the summits of Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa where it snows, I’m talking about where people actually live.
On Saturday, Hilo set a record low of 58 degrees Fahrenheit. That’s only 14 degrees Celsius! Kahului, on Maui, got down to 53!
And in Volcano, where we live, it got down to a bone-numbing 44 yesterday! That’s only 7 degrees Celsius!
