December 1 is here, which means Movember has come to an end. My upper lip is now naked and cold. It was fun growing a mo, especially in the last week when it really came in. If you want to reminisce you can check out the Movember 2009 category.

I have some mahalos to make! First, a recap. Movember is a world-wide push to raise money and awareness for men’s health issues, primarily testicular and prostate cancer. Money goes to the Movember Foundation, which then passes on money to the Prostate Cancer Foundation and the LIVESTRONG Lance Armstrong Foundation. As of right now (10am HST) a whopping $30,426,364 has been raised worldwide. That’s an awesome amount, and donations should continue to trickle in over the next few days!

Personally, I raised $135, which is more than I was expecting. Thanks!

Movember 30

It’s Movember 30, the last day I’ll have a mo! While it’s been a fun ride, I’ll be going back to the naked upper lip tomorrow. It’s also the last day I’ll be bugging people for donations, so donate please! It’s for a good cause!

We’re entering the final week of Movember! My mo is looking pretty good, I must say!

You know, I’m not doing this so people can make fun of my mo (although feel free), I’m participating in Movember to raise awareness and money for men’s health issues, primarily prostate and testicular cancer. So far I’ve raised a grand total of zero dollars, a disappointing total. I’m going to be donating myself some money by the end of the month and would very much like it if you clicked the link at the bottom of this post and chipped in a little bit of money. Five bucks would do. I’m not greedy.

I don’t get anything out of this other than a small feeling of satisfaction of having helped raise awareness of men’s health issues. And an awesome mo. All the money goes towards the Movember Foundation.
